Welcome to IIIM Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
Library in this campus was functional even during pre-independence years when the Institute was known as ‘Drug Research Laboratory (DRL)’ under J&K State Government. In 1957, CSIR took-over DRL and renamed it as ‘Regional Research Laboratory (RRL)’. RRL Library shifted to its new building (present building) on 13th September, 1974. With the renaming of RRL as ‘CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine’ and CSIR Libraries as ‘S&T Knowledge Resource Centres’, it is presently known as “IIIM S&T Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC).”
IIIM is a multi-disciplinary organization which encompasses natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biotechnology and botanical sciences. Here, primary focus of research is on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species).
The objectives of IIIM-KRC are to further the interests of ‘Users’ by providing them library services to enable them to keep a track of significant development in their fields of interest. It supports its scientists, students and other S&T users with current and even evolving knowledge in their respective spheres of R&D activities.
